Melty Blood: Type Lumina is a revival of the Melty Blood franchise that follows the Tsukihime Remake series’ chronology. It was released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on September 30th, 2021.
There are a total of 18 characters in all (14 initial and 4 DLC rosters). Because this game’s timeline continuity takes place before the remade events of Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya, and Melty Blood Act sub-series, some characters who appeared in the original timeline depicted in the Melty Blood Act sub-series, such as the game series’ original main heroine, Sion Eltnam Atlasia, will not appear in this game.
Blood Type Melty Tsukihime, a blue glass moon, inspired the game Lumina. This is a fan-favorite game that has already attracted a large number of players since its release. And, because this is a fighter game, choosing which character to play is critical.

Before we begin, you should be aware that this is my selection of the finest characters. You can come across a character that you don’t think belongs in that rank. That’s OK since you can still have fun with them and perhaps defeat certain S or A Tier characters. So, let us now look at the greatest characters on Tier List.
S-Tier
| Kohaku | Kohaku has vast medical knowledge and has worked for the Tohno family since she was a youngster. Don’t be fooled by her sword-wielding broom. Not only that, but she can also throw firebombs and summon strange plants. |
| Red Arcueid | She became a vampire as a result of an incident, or her urges are vampire-like. Red is a fighter against humanity, and her newfound abilities make her even more lethal. |
| Akiha Tohno | Following her father’s death, Akiha ascends to the position of Tohno House Leader. She is desperate to maintain her family’s name and will go to any length to do so. |

| Kouka Kishima | Kouka is the head of the Kishima family. He is half-human and half-demon, yet his fighting skill prevents you from seeing his human side. The scorching heat is one of his talents, and it may convert his enemies to ashes. |
B-Tier
| Ciel | Ciel works as an executor for a company called Burial Agency. Her appearance may lead you to believe she is forgiving, but her actions suggest otherwise. She will track down and kill anyone she believes of being a heretic. |
| Shiki Tohno | Shiki is the eldest son of the Tohno family who was reared by the Ariyamas. He sees death as a collection of points and lines. Don’t fight him because he won’t be wearing glasses and his eyes of death will be visible. |
C-Tier
| Vlov Arkhangel | Vlov is a Dead Apostle who awakened in the far north’s frozen wastelands. He converts blood into heat by using it. He employs both his chilly and fiery personalities to alter the tides of battle. |
| Noel | Noel started as a new teacher at Shiki’s school, but her actual duty is that of the Holy Church’s executor. It makes no difference if her opponent is weak or powerful; when it comes to finishing them out, she will show no mercy. |
D-Tier
| Michael Roa Valdamjong | Michael’s aliases include “infinite Reincarnator” and “Serpent of Akasha.” His powers include the ability to control electricity. |
| Arcueid Brunestud | She is the True Ancestors’ royal member. But she is not your average vampire; she can withstand direct sunlight and is on a mission to find the Dead Apostles. |
| Hisui | Kohaku’s younger sister and another maid in the Tohno Family. When it comes to fighting, she isn’t as violent as her sister, but underestimate her and you’ll lose in no time. |
