Mary DeMarle has worked in various popular gaming, series, and movie titles during her 14 year tenure, and will now be joining BioWare as the new senior narrative director to work on the latest Mass Effect title.
DeMarle was prominently known to work on two Deus Ex titles, namely Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, as the lead writer. She also worked on the Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 as the narrative director and writer as well. It was initially unclear which BioWare title she was joining for. But right after her arrival announcement on her Linkedin post, Michael Gamble, the project manager for Mass Effect, warmly welcomed her in a tweet.
Mary DeMarley won several accolades for her works, including multiple writers awards for the Deus Ex series, as well as winning the award for Best Narrative for Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2.
As for the latest Mass Effect title, it is still under production and there is no verified date of release or title yet, but we will get to witness DeMarley’s magic in the game very soon.
