What Happens After A Player Dies in the DMZ Mode of Warzone 2.0?
Warzone 2.0 takes place on the map of Al Mazrah as Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2 (2022). You will be able to get a lot of rewards by playing the new game mode called DMZ which is short for Demilitarized Zone. This is basically a sandbox version of Call of Duty which is quite different from the battle royale. Let’s find out how.

DMZ is on a different level as it is challenging for most players, which is why it is also a highly anticipated game mode. Players are expected to fight against enemies as they look for supplies in their surroundings in order to survive and last the maximum possible amount of time. As a survival sandbox mode, death will play a very significant role in it. There are severe penalties for dying in DMZ mode.
The game mode has both PvE and PvP versions, so you will be able to choose between playing against real players and AI. The rules are slightly different for PvE and PvP.
When you die in the DMZ PvE Mode of Warzone 2.0, you will lose all the items that you have collected so far. These are the items that are physically available in your backpack. There is no way to recover them in the match. However, you will be able to keep any weapon blueprints that you might have unlocked in the session.
However, the game is lenient in the PvP Mode of DMZ as you will be able to regain the items that you have collected. This can be achieved if a teammate revives your character in the same session.
