Heizou has been out for a while now and the Genshin community loves him as he’s one of the best 4-stars in the current game. He’s one of the best 4-star dps characters and his Anemo nature makes him synergise comfortably in many teams. With Update 2.8 bringing us Heizou’s banner, many players wanted multiple copies of him for his constellations as they give him a damage boost. But are they even worth it- and does that make him a good character or bad?
Heizou Constellations Value in Genshin Impact 2.8
Heizou’s constellations only offer a better quality of life and don’t offer much beyond that. His C1 and C2 solve a few minor problems with his kit like his crowd control ability and his Declension stacks. His C6 gives him more energy recharge and only his C6 directly contributes to a damage increase.
Since pulling specific 4-stars can often require more pulls than a 5-star it’s generally advisable to not go for a C6 of a 4-star character right off the bat. It’s much more convenient and money-saving to naturally pull their constellations from future banners.
4-star characters with bad kits at C0 require constellations to be functional and playable on-field and these are considered bad characters. But Heizou is a perfect 4-star character who is fun and powerful to play even at C0. He has no definite flaws in his kit which need constellations to be fixed. As such it’s not worth it to intentionally go for a C6 of his character.
While his C6 does offer more Crit rate and Crit damage depending on your Declension stacks, getting that C6 will cost you more than getting a 5-star Kazuha. As such it’s wiser to wait and get him naturally from your Standard Banner pulls or just character pulls from other banners.
Like all 4-stars, he’ll make regular appearances in future banners where the chances to pull him will be similarly increased. As such he isn’t going anywhere so if you do try him out for a month and still like him you can go for a C6 in your future pulls.
