Remembrance is one of the unique features introduced in Elden Ring. Though this game has many unique features, this one allows players to acquire the Boss weapons after killing a boss. But the primary condition is the boss needs to drop Remembrance upon killing.
In Elden Ring, all the Bosses don’t drop Remembrance. Some particular bosses drop them. There are many types of Remembrance available in the game, and Remembrance of the Naturalborn is one of them. This guide will help you know how to use Remembrance of the Naturalborn in Elden Ring.
Remembrance of Naturalborn in Elden Ring – How to Acquire and Use
In Elden Ring, upon defeat, bosses drop several items. Some drop weapons, some drop Great Runes, and some drop Remembrance. For example, the Demi-Gods drop Great Runes; Dragons drop Dragon Hearts; Godrick the Grafted, Starscourage Radahn, etc., drop Remembrance.
Remembrance of the Naturalborn will be obtained by defeating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, whom you find while following the Ranni, the Witch’s questline. Once you get the Remembrance, head over to the Roundtable Hold and hand over the Remembrance to Enia, and she will let you get one or two items in exchange. By exchanging Remembrance of Naturalborn, you’ll get either the Waves of Darkness Ash of War or Bastard’s Stars flail. One of these two items will be acquired at a time. Players can’t get both of them at the same time. Once you choose one, you need to start a new game to get the other one.
Among these two items, Waves of Darkness Ash of War gives magic affinity to Warhammer, Greataxes, etc., and Bastard’s Stars flail is a weapon that scales with Intelligence. Choose the one most suitable for your present in-game situation. However, you can duplicate Remembrances by attacking and defeating Walking Mausoleums and get both the items in a single playthrough.
