Digimon Survive is the latest visual novel, tactical- roleplaying game released on 28th July 2022. The developers have included modern technologies into the game, which is prominent from using the camera in Digimon Survive. In the game, there will be times when you need to use the camera to search for nearby enemy Digimon or items. This guide will help you know how you can use the camera in Digimon Survive.
Digimon Survive- How the Camera Works in the Game?
The camera in the game is mainly used to find distortions in your surroundings, but it is not accessible in the beginning. Players must progress through the game to get the camera icon on the top of their screen. The first time you need the camera is when you reach the middle of the prologue and search for the missing people. At this point, Minoru notices something unusual and asks you to take out your phone and check. From now on, you can use the camera of your phone.
To use the camera, first, you need to check whether the camera button appears on your screen or not. Once it appears, you have to press ZL on your Nintendo Switch and R2 on your controller to open the camera and scan the surroundings. If you find some distortion, interact with it by pressing the interact button, and as you interact, you’ll either get an item or a shadowy figure. Sometimes, you may not get any response from the interaction, and the game stops there. Focus on finding another one. If you have proper responses from there, then maybe you were trying to interact with the wrong one in the beginning. Once the interaction is proper, the story automatically progresses to the next part.
That’s how players need to use the camera in Digimon Survive. Primarily, it is used to find Digimon or some essential items from your surroundings. The camera can only be used when the camera icon appears on the screen, and during the game, players need to use the camera many times.
