Dinkum is a farming and life sim game where you can live the island life of your dreams. There are numerous activities in the game and just as many skills that you can level up. Farming is one such area that players might be having trouble with, since the options seem to be fewer that the others. However, there are more elements to farming than you may think, for which you can use different items in the game. In this guide, we’ll take you through the process of how to use bone in Dinkum.
Using the Bone Guide in Dinkum
When you first begin Dinkum, you might be confused as to what you should do with the bones that you find, which is nearly every time you kill something. There doesn’t seem to be a use for them yet in the early game, but you need to hold on to them because they come in handy.

There are actually quite a few ways that you can use bones. The most common one has to be to make fertilizer. In order to make fertilizer for your plants, you will need the help of a Compost Bin. Place 8 Bone into the bin, and you will get 1 Fertilizer over the course of a day, which you can then use on your plants. You can also use 2 Roo Poo, 1 Bone, and 1 Syrinx Shell to make 1 Fertilizer on the Crafting Table.
Another use for the bone where you need to use the Crafting Table is to make a Worm Farm. These are the materials that you need to make a Worm Farm:
- 25 Roo Poo
- 15 Bone
- 5 Copper Bar
- 5 Iron Bar
- 15 Hard Wood Plank
In addition to these recipes, you can make custom objects by speaking to Ted Selly and Jimmy when you meet them later in the game.
