Every multiplayer game is best if played with a team. But sometimes you would have had to mute certain players who are just on the same path as you. Now, if you want to unmute them in-game, it might seem a bit tricky, especially if a round is going on. Here are some ways you can unmute any player in-game.
How to Unmute Teammates in Warzone
When working with a team, you will always need a clear line of communication. It doesn’t help if someone is on mute. If you find players on your team that has been muted but cannot figure out how to unmute them, then you can follow these easy steps.
- Manually toggle mute settings
When in a match you come across all your teammates are on mute, you will have to manually unmute them. On PlayStation 4, you can press X after highlighting the players available in the lobby. On Xbox One you can press A while doing the same. For PC, you need to manually select all the players and tap ‘Toggle Mute’.
- Fix Audio Settings
If after following the above steps you are still not able to fix it, you should check the Voice Communication Setting in the game. You will have to check if voice chat in Warzone is enabled. To do this you will have to click on the main menu and click on the ‘Audio’ tab under Options. Click on Voice Chat settings. Here you can change the voice chat for everyone. All you have to do is click Unmute All.
- Cross-Platform Chat
The last step you can take to check if all others don’t work is to check whether cross-platform chat is enabled. You can find this by clicking on the Options menu again, under Account. Under Options, look for Cross-Play Communication. If it is disabled, then enable it. You will then be able to enter voice communication across platforms.
If this troubleshooting doesn’t fix your problem, you will have to check your system settings to see if everything is working fine, or drop an email to the game developers if you are the only one facing the issue.
