Unlocking the Skidgardr Chest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok
With all the new items in the newest expansion of the game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok brings another realm for players to explore. There are chests spread out all over the game map, which are places of interest for many. You will be able to upgrade your gear as well as build sets that will greatly boost your stats. It’s a good idea to find as many of these special items as possible to get ahead in the game.

In Svartalfheim, you will find chests scattered over the terrain, and some of these are more valuable than others such as the Skidgardr Chest which contains a powerful piece of armor. To unlock this chest, you will need to find two keys. Both of them are hidden near Skidgardr, and you can use Odin’s sight to alleviate the process and make things easier for you.
First Key
One of the keys will be attached to a wooden structure on a tree, and you can find it by using the Hugr-Rip Power of the Raven to fly into the air and using your Odin’s sight. It’s quite close to the chest location so, with a bit of luck, you’ll find it.
Second Key
Walk further up the slope to the east to find the second key. You will discover a lava field here, and to avoid taking damage you should use the Hugr-Rip Power of Muspelheim on yourself as you look for the key. Using Odin’s sight will inform you that the key is in the middle of the field, surrounded by some dead enemies. You can use the Power to walk to the place and take the key. Now that you have both keys, all you have to do is approach the chest and interact with it to unlock it. Inside, you will find the Fire Giant chest piece armor.
