Turning Off Crossplay
The primary reason to deactivate Warzone/Vanguard crossplay is to elude cheaters and hackers. If you just play on a console, you might come across a few from the PC platform. While RICOCHET has significantly decreased the number of hackers, coming across a cheater can still occur with some cheat providers not yielding.
To disable Crossplay in COD Warzone & Vanguard:
- From the Multiplayer Menu, choose Settings.
- To access the game’s Settings menu, press Options on a PlayStation system or Menu on an Xbox console.
- For Vanguard, go to ‘Account and Network,’ while for Warzone, go to ‘Network.
- This is the last tab available in the Settings menu.
- By pressing R1/ RB, you may move the cursor over.
- Switch ‘Crossplay’ to ‘Off.’
- If you ever want to turn it back on, just come back here and toggle it back to ‘On.’
