Dinkum is a delightful farming and life simulation game created by the Australian developer James Bendon, who is a one-man team running the entire game. While Dinkum is out only on Steam early release, there are a lot of neat features in the game that makes it worth paying for, and more to come. This guide will take you through the process of how to sell animals in Dinkum.
Dinkum: Animal Selling Guide
If you’re in need of more Dinks in Dinkum, you might have considered selling animals. However, there are a lot of animals found in the game, so it’s difficult to figure out which animals can be captured and sold, and which need to be killed.

Selling animals will earn you a lot of Dinks, so you might want to invest into this prospect. There are some Licences that you need to get, as well as materials that you’ll need to craft. You might want to collect these first before you decide, so that you can be more prepared.
The first thing you’ll need is an Animal Trap, which required a Trapping Licence. Get the Licence from Fletch, and you will receive the blueprint for the Trap. To make the trap, you will need to follow the crafting ingredients on the Crafting Table in Fletch’s tent. Gather the materials and make the trap in order to begin the hunt. These are:
- 2 Palm Wood Plank
- 2 Hard Wood Plank
- 1 Nail
Now, all you will need to do is make your way into a biome which has a lot of animals. Place your trap in the middle and come back later. After you have an animal there, you need the Animal Collection Point, place it next to the trapped animal and click on the animal to place it into the collection point. It will be taken away, and you will get the payment in the morning delivered to your inbox.
