The highly anticipated sequel, Helldivers 2, has finally arrived. After much anticipation, the game is now available for players to dive into. The story of Helldivers 2 unfolds in a galaxy where alien invaders are coming through the cracks, threatening the safety of your planet. Despite the absence of PvP in the game, the developers have made it clear that they aim to minimize toxicity among players. However, it can still be challenging to avoid toxic players in any multiplayer game. Let’s see in this guide how to report or block players in Halldivers 2.
How to Report or Block Players in Helldivers 2?
To report or block players in Helldivers 2 follow the below steps:
- Press O on your ship to open the Social Tab.
- Open the Recent Players section on the Social Tab.
- In this section, you can see the last eight players you played with and the time when either the mission ended or they left the party.
- Now block the person whom you want to block.
- Now they’ll appear in the Blocked Players list, but it might take a little while for their names to show up.
Once you have blocked the players, they won’t show up in your Recent Players list and they won’t be able to join your parties, or you can’t join theirs. Also, right now, you can only report players who have typed in the in-game chat. So, you can’t report for teamkilling or toxic voice comments just yet. Maybe in the future, they’ll add a better reporting feature, but for now, blocking is your best option.
