Energy or stamina is a replenishable resource in the game, to an extent. This guide will take you through the process of how to recover energy in Dinkum.
How to Recover Energy in Dinkum
If you’re new to Dinkum or just new to survival games in general, you might not be familiar with the concept of energy. At any point in the day, you will have limited energy to do the tasks that you need to do. So, you need to prioritize and make use of your energy in the best possible way.

Doing actions such as farming, hunting, mining and chopping trees require energy. When you do these tasks, you will be able to see a yellow bar right next to the red health bar at the top left of your screen slowly depleting. In Dinkum, when either of these bars is empty, you will die or pass out. In this way, you will also be losing quite a bit of money.
However, if you plan on being really busy in the game, there are ways to recover or replenish your energy. You will need to eat specific foods if you want more energy. When you’re just starting out, Cooked Bananas and Cooked Cactus Flowers are the way to go. These replenish a lot of energy for you and keep you going. Later in the game, make Fruit Salad to get more energy at once.
Note that you will be able to eat only three food items at a time before your character begins to feel full. This occurs for about 40 seconds, so you might want to do something else in the meantime.
Some acts of foraging for items, such as harvesting fruits and picking them up require no energy at all, so you can do these tasks while you wait. You can also craft and cook at the respective tables. Additionally, it might be a good idea to do these tasks at night, when you have almost no energy because you need to sleep.
