The new exciting season of Fortnite is here, and it looks fantastic! 3rd Chapter: Season 4, entitled “Paradise,” introduces a previously unseen material called chrome to the battle royale game. This newly added element can change whatever it comes into touch with; for example, if you splash it on yourself, you will become briefly fireproof and be able to sprint considerably quicker. This season continues the joyful atmosphere of Paradise, which launched in June after a live mech battle event.
Epic Games has added a new game mechanic for sliding in Season 3, Chapter 4, allowing you to kick off enemies if you collide with them while sliding. Sliding is an excellent strategy in Fortnite to save energy and keep you alive in edged situations. Sliding can also help you get around the map faster and avoid being hit by enemy fire. When using the Slide Kick mechanic, you will be able to damage and knock back enemies that are in your way.
This guide will show you how to Slide Kick in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.

How to Perform Slide Kick in Fortnite?
The Slide Kick is like the previous sliding animation you would do in Fortnite. To slide,
- Press the Right analogue stick on your controller or the Left CTRL key on your keyboard while running.
- Once you’ve started sliding, you’ll automatically perform a slide kick if you come into contact with an enemy or object.
- You may slide down the ramp until it bottoms out or slows to a stop.
- You may also choose to jump off before reaching this endpoint if you wish.
Remember that you need to have enough momentum to sustain your slide, so don’t try it if you’re not moving fast enough. Also, despite the name, the animation for a slide kick is no different from a regular slide in the game. When you successfully hit an enemy with a slide kick, they’ll get knocked back, so take advantage of that by disrupting their aim or knocking them off a ledge.
Performing a slide kick is simple – run towards your opponent and slide into them at the last second. If you time it right, the force of the slide will knock them back and give you some much-needed distance in combat. Plus, the added element of surprise might be enough to give you an edge over them. If not, your teammates will have an easier time taking them out.
The new season of Fortnite has arrived, which means there are new battle pass rewards, weapons, map changes, Exotic weapons, NPCs, and more waiting to be discovered. If you’re not already playing the game, now is the time to start.
