How to Craft Fire Resistance Barley Wine | Valheim
Besides the boss fights, the main use of the Fire Resistance Barley Wine is when you encounter Surtlings – the fire creatures. You will especially require the wine when you go through the Ashlands biome. The Ashlands is filled with Surtlings and you will find yourself dealing with several of them in a small area. As such, you should know how to craft the Fire Resistance Wine.
To Craft the Fire Resistance Barley Wine in Valheim, you require resources such as 10 Barley and 10 Cloudberries. Once you have the resources, you can open the Cauldron menu to craft the Barley wine base: Fire resistance. Once the mead base is done take it to the Fermenter and it will take 2 days to make the 6 Fire Resistance Barley Wine.
You can find both the resources required to make the mead base quite easily. Both the Barley and Cloudberries can be found in the Plains Biome. The Barley is a crop, so you need to find its seed then farm it. You can get the seeds by raiding Fuling villages and search the ground for seed. You will find Barley and Flax seeds. Cloudberries can be directly harvested from the plants and widely available. Once picked, they respawn in 300 minutes.
After consuming the wine, you will reduce the fire damage by 50% and the duration of the fire damage by 10 minutes.
