Raft is an open-world survival game where players will need to start their game in the middle of the ocean, and learn how to survive. This guide will take you through the process of how to kill a shark in Raft.
How to Defeat a Shark in Raft
Sharks are a menace and a constant presence in Raft. The quicker a play learns how to defeat one, the better they will be able to survive.

You will need a weapon to kill them, perhaps a Wooden Spear that you can use as a melee attack only when the shark gets close. Three hits are all it takes to discourage their sharp teeth from chomping away at your only means of survival in the harsh waters. They are going to damage your raft this way, so you’ll need some better weapons.
If you want a shark to stop attacking your raft you can try to support the outer Foundations of your Raft with Foundation Armor which might be a costly affair as each piece costs 1 Metal, a rare resource.
The best weapons to use to kill a Shark in Raft is the Basic Bow and Stone Arrows. You will need to dive into the water and shoot at it, aiming for the mouth before it tries to charge at you underwater. Shark bait is also a good option if you have it, which makes your work with a melee weapon such as a Wooden Spear or a Metal Spear easier.
Once you have killed a shark, you will get a Shark Head which is a cosmetic helmet, and a little counterintuitive as it obscures your view. You can also display it on the wall on a Large Trophy Board. Additionally, you will receive four pieces of Raw Sharkmeat for killing a shark.
Sharks will return over time, so make sure to stay on guard.
