Icarus is a survival game developed by RocketWerkz and can be played solo or with eight other players. It was released on 3rd December 2021 for Microsoft Windows. Food, water, and weapons are the three essential elements for any survival game. Icarus is not an exception. Players need to get water to survive in the world of Icarus.
Icarus will take you to a survival world where you have to find water resources for cooking and quenching your thirst. Without food, water, and oxygen, you cannot survive in the world of Icarus-just like the real world. In this article, we’ll talk about how to get water in Icarus.
How to Find Water Resources in Icarus?
Getting water to hydrate your body or cooking food is not difficult. Water bodies are not rare things in the world of Icarus. You’ll find natural water bodies here and there, or you can collect rainwater to use. Also, there are some juicy fruits like berries that you can use as an alternative to water. To get the water from the water bodies, you need to go to the pool and press ‘E.’
But when you are away from natural water sources, and there is no rain, there are some tools you can use to store water and use later.
- Campfire is a tier 1 item that needs 8x fiber, 8x stick, and 24x stone to be made. With the help of a campfire, you can melt ice and turn it into the water to get enough water to hydrate your body.
- First Cohort Envirosuit is available when you purchase the Supporters Edition. Its benefit is to provide the players with a water play area.
- WaterSkin is a tier-2 ingredient that needs x fiber, 12x leather, and 4x bone to be made. If you keep one Waterskin in your inventory, you can fill it up and carry it with you. Use it to hydrate your body whenever you don’t find any water bodies nearby.
- Rain Reservoir is a tier 2 item that requires 8x stick, 80x stones, 8x leather, and 24x wood to be made. Once you make it and place it outside, it’ll store rainwater for you. Additionally, it’ll turn ice into water. To drink the water from the reservoir, go near it and press ‘F.’
