RocketWerkz’s latest survival game Icarus was released on 3rd December 2021. Since its first release, Icarus has gained massive popularity among gamers due to its thrilling and adventurous gameplay experience and graphics quality. However, like all other survival games, in Icarus, players need to build their own shelter to save themselves from dangers and store their essential things safely. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to build a shelter in Icarus.
Crafting Shelter in Icarus- Howe to do it?
Like every other survival game, in Icarus, players need to protect themselves from the dangers of the outside world. Also, like the real world, there is a different type of weather in the game’s world. Therefore, you need shelter to survive through all these. Now to build a shelter, you need 20 Fiber, which you’ll get by harvesting bushes, and 3 Sticks, which you’ll get by harvesting small trees.
To make the basic structure, you need to have two-floor pieces and three wall pieces that require you to collect 120 Fibers and 15 Sticks. But, first, you have to unlock the tech tree blueprints to make the shelter, which needs Points. Then, you need to unlock the beam, floors, walls, and roofs to create a basic structure. So, level up yourself and unlock the Wood beam first. Then you’ll get the floor, walls, and roof pieces. Once you craft all the pieces, move them to your Hotbar.
Choose a flat land, preferably near a waterbody, and place your pieces as you like, and build your shelter. Use your axe and pickaxe to flatten the ground and press ‘Place’ to set your selected item. It will be a small shelter that won’t fit anything else, but it can initially protect you from dangers. Eventually, you’ll get more Sticks and Fibres to craft more building materials and build a bigger structure.
That’s all you need to know about how to build a shelter in Icarus. If you are playing the game and still don’t have a shelter of your own, check out our guide to get the process of making a shelter.
