To collect Release Tokens, you first need to complete all Trials and MK-Challenges. Each challenge offers a set of Release Tokens you can collect at the end of it. To get out of Murkoff Facility and be Reborn the first time, you need to collect 20 Release Tokens. That means clearing all the Program Genesis challenges and earning Release Tokens per challenge. The tougher the challenge level is, the rarer your chances get in getting Release Tokens. It doesn’t matter how long you take to complete the challenge or what your final grade is, as long as you are able to complete it and survive till the end of the trail.
Once you have 20 Release Tokens, head over to the Reborn counter and hand them over to the guard there. You can then leave the facility and reenter to get a new set of trails under Program X. For this, you need to collect 10 Release Tokens by completing all the Program X trials and get Reborn. After that, reenter the facility again to start the Project Ultra challenges and collect another 10 Release Tokens to leave the facility
