You need to create a Tailor shop first, which you can do when you go to the building menu and select structures. Once you have the tailor shop in place, you can place the Tanning Vat inside. To build a tanning vat, go to the furniture menu and select the additional furniture for production buildings option. Under this, you will find the tailor shop’s furniture option. If you select it, you will get all the equipment and workbenches that can be placed inside. Over here, you can select the tanning vat and place it inside the tailor’s shop. You will need the necessary materials to craft the tanning vat.
