The Teal Mask DLC now brings new evolution lines for certain Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If you own the elusive Applin, you can further evolve it into Dipplin. Dipplin is the newest evolution added to the Grass and Dragon type Pokémon. But like the rest of Applin’s evolution, you need to get a particular item to evolve it into Dipplin. Like most of Applin’s evolutions, you need to get a special item to evolve it into Dipplin. For this, you need to get a Syrupy Apple item. To get this item, make your way to Mossfell Confluence and visit the shack at the bottom right section of the map. You will spot a vendor here on the farm, and on their shop list you will find the Syrupy Apple. It will cost 500 PokeDollars to buy it, and once you do you will find it in your bag’s Other Items section.
Now all that is left is to feed the item to Applin. Select the Syrupy Apple from your inventory and give it to Applin to get Dipplin. This grass and dragon type Pokémon has a few great abilities, like Supersweet Syrup, Gluttony, and Sticky Hold. Dipplin can also learn a new move called Syrup Bomb to turn it into an effective Pokémon in battle.
