The first and best Pokémon you should find are Chansey. Visit the North Province Area Three and explore till you can find them. Chansey is a pretty common Pokémon, so you won’t have any trouble finding them. If you are having difficulty, you can always consume Normal Encounter Power Sandwiches to increase your chances of finding it. You can also visit Area Zero post-game and head over to Research Center 3 to find Chansey here.
Next up is Blissey, the evolved form of Chansey. These Pokemon too can be found in North Province Area Three, along with Chansey. Both Chansey and Blissey have to be defeated without the auto-battle feature in Let’s Go to farm XP, and you need at least a level 30 Pokemon to defeat them. The best Pokemon you can use is the Paldean Tauros, as Chansey and Blissey are weak to physical fighting type Pokemon. Also, equipping a Lucky Egg on the Tauros and making it the main in your party can help you double the XP earned.
For early-game farming, defeating Tatsugiri is enough to get you XP. You can find Tatsugiri near the shoreline of Casseroya Lake area. The best Pokemon that can defeat it quickly is the Paldean Wooper. You can find the Wooper in the Los Platos area, near the Lighthouse. Paldean Wooper has the Water Absorb move that can easily defeat Tatsugiri. Don’t forget to consume water encounter power sandwiches and make Wooper hold the Lucky Egg to farm XP.
While at Casseroya Lake, you can also encounter Veluza, Dondozo, and Gyarados. They are great for farming XP as well, and any grass or electric-type Pokemon can knock them down.
