You might have seen a lot of players riding horses in V Rising and yeah you were wondering how you can also get a horse for yourself and I am also wondering why are vampires riding horses but nevertheless, if you want a horse for yourself in V Rising then there are a few simple steps to follow. We will also tell you how you can take care of your house while keeping it out of danger and keep your horse alive to use it for as long as possible.
Where to Find a Horse in V Rising?
You won’t generally find horses in the Forbane Woods because they don’t naturally spawn there. You have to go into the Dunley Farmlands in order to find your first horse. This area is much more dangerous than the Forbane Woods so you have to make sure that you have at least hit the level 30 before attempting to go into the Dunley Farmlands which is the second major region in the game.
There are many places in the Dunley Farmlands, where you can find horses when you get near one such area just open your map and hover over to the area to see what resources that area has. If horses are listed in that particular area then you have found the place where you can get your first horse.
In order to claim a horse as your own, all you need to do is approach the horse and then interact with it in order to ride it. This will make it your own horse right away and then you can proceed to ride it back to your house and get ready to take it on all your future adventures.
Once you start riding a horse you will be able to see its that’s by opening your inventory while you are riding or standing near the horse each horse in be rising has three types of stats:
- Max Speed: This shows the maximum speed a horse can go.
- Acceleration: This shows how quickly the horse can reach its maximum speed.
- Turning Speed: This shows how quickly a horse can turn on the spot.
Different horses will have different stats so you have to check every horse in order to determine which horse has the best stats and which one should you get.
Your horse will require water to stay alive. If you open your inventory while you are near a horse you will see that on the right-hand window there is an option to add a water-filled canister. Your horse will slowly consume this water in order to stay alive. if the Horse runs out of water then it will only last a certain amount of time before it dies but fortunately, you can also see how long the water will last in the horse’s inventory giving you an idea of how often do you need to get a the water supply filled up again.
You can also steal the horses in PVP mode and they’re also susceptible to damage by enemies because horses can’t fight back so it’s best that you don’t park your horse near an enemy.
