If you think you’re carrying around more than you need, all you need to do is visit a blacksmith in the area. There are blacksmiths in villages across the map, and you’re bound to come across one of them at some point. These helpful NPCs can take your unused items and reuse them by the process of Salvaging.
Salvaging benefits the player as well, as they will receive scrap materials from the dismantled gear, and will be able to use them to upgrade the gear that they are using. This results in quicker resources for you to level up your weapons.
Another thing that you can do with scrap materials is converting them into Enchanted Dust. You will need to look for a Smithing Vendor who are usually next to the blacksmiths. They can convert 10 scrap materials into one Enchanted Dust for you.
This is the best action that you can take for your unused weapons instead of letting them fester in your inventory. At least they’ll be of some use to you as scrap materials.
