Saints Row reboot is finally here, and players have already dived into the game’s open world to explore every game feature and experience the thrill. The game has created a high expectation among the players, and now it is getting mixed reviews. Not everyone is equally satisfied with the game. In every online game, difficulty plays an essential role. Difficulty decides how much you can enjoy a game. Like every other game, Saints Row also has several difficulty modes available, and players need to choose the most suitable mode and adjust the variables to customize the difficulty.
This guide will help you know how you can customize difficulty settings in Saints Row.
Customize Difficulty Settings in Saints Row- How to Create?
In Saints Row, players must complete many missions to progress through the game. Of course, during these missions, they have to fight with enemies and complete tasks, and if the game’s difficulty is not properly suitable to your playing style, you can’t enjoy the mission or fight the enemies. To find the Difficulty settings, go to the game’s Main Menu and then click on the Settings. Under the Settings menu, you can find the option to customize the game difficulty.
Among the difficulty settings, the first thing players need to select is the Challenge Type. Saints Row has five challenge types available- Tourists, Hustler, Entrepreneur, Sensei, and Boss.
The Entrepreneur is the default challenge type and the medium difficulty mode. In the Tourist mode, players are like spectators who don’t involve in any trouble. They only enjoy the scenery and roam around the city. Things become a little more complex in the Sensei mode than in the Entrepreneur mode. Here, you’ll progress to master your skills. Finally, choosing the Boss mode make it impossible to defeat enemies. Instead, you’ll die if you get a few hits.
Therefore, Choose the challenge type carefully. Once you choose the challenge type, next, you can customize the other options like enemy durability, danger level, vehicle combat difficulty, etc. Players can increase or reduce the values to adjust these settings. For example, if you increase the Danger Level, you’ll take more damage; increasing Enemy Durability means your attacks deal less damage to the enemies; high Vehicle Combat Difficulty means your vehicles will have less health than the enemy vehicles; the more the Ammo Scarcity, the less ammo you’ll get; Timed Objective Difficulty means the time you get to complete an objective. The higher the difficulty, the less time you get to complete tasks. These values can range from 0 to 9, which means you can set any value between 0-9.
That’s all you need to know about how to customize difficulty settings in Saints Row. Remember to choose the Challenge type and set the values based on your skills. If you are a skilled player, you can customize the setting to be a difficult one. Otherwise, try to play the game with medium difficulty, so you can feel the difficulty of the missions but enjoy them.
