Along with the Hasty Balloons Challenge in Clash of Clans, players can also participate in the Metal Militia challenge, which is all about Pekkas. The elusive metal-bodied character can be trained at a discount during this event in order to win attractive rewards. In challenges like these, every player can participate for free as long as they have the Barracks level for the troops that are required to complete the challenge.

For the Metal Militia challenge, you will need to participate with at least 1 Pekka troop if you’re at a lower Town Hall level, or with 2 if you’re one of the higher ones. Players will need to win 10 multiplayer battles and earn resources and experience for doing so. You can find more details about the event on your Events page.

After deploying 2 Pekkas on the battlefield along with the rest of your army, you should aim to get at least one star in order to win the battle. Pekkas are high DPA (Damage Per Attack) troops with a good tanking ability, but it’s a good idea to pair them with something hardier like Golems or Ice Golems. You can use Wizards to create a highly damaging army compostion.

On completing the Metal Militia with 10 wins, you will receive 400 experience points as well as a Research Potion which you can use to boost the lab. Additionally, you can enjoy Pekkas at the discounted price for the remainder of the event duration and save up on some Elixir.
