Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region released the Dendro element and this indirectly buffed the whole of the Electro element in the game. Dendro-Electro reactions are game-changing and many underrated and weaker Electro characters are now getting their time to shine in the Dendro meta as they’ve finally become playable. One of these is Lisa- a starter character with fantastic design and animations who had to be ditched because she was so weak compared to other Electro units in the game.
This article will briefly discuss the basics of her kit and then go on to discuss her best Dendro meta build- an Aggravate Lisa.
Lisa’s Basic Kit Explained
Lisa is an Electro catalyst user whose Normal Attacks and Tap version of her E skill share the same ICD. Her Charged Attack and Hold Version of her E-skill has no ICD.
Lisa has the ability to apply Conductive Stacks which appear on enemies when they are hit by her NAs and E-skill Tap version. These determine the damage her E-skill Hold version will do- the more stacks the more damage you can do. A maximum of 3 stacks can be applied on enemies after which Lisa is expected to use the Hold version of her E skill for maximum damage.
Lisa’s elemental burst creates a comparatively small AoE around her and puts down an Electric Lamp as a construct on the field. This lamp periodically attacks enemies that come within range of the AoE with Electro DMG and it has the additional effect of shredding 15% DEF from enemies that are struck by her lightning.
Her Conductive Stacks also have a very small AoE when initially deployed- so when enemies are grouped together, enemies that are in the vicinity of one Conductive Stack also get a Conductive Stack applied to them with its own small AoE. This way their AoEs collide and you can quickly get 3 stacks on multiple enemies.
Lisa’s kit is best suited for an Aggravate build as she can quickly apply electro due to her being a catalyst user.
Aggravate Lisa Build
For Aggravate Lisa, you’ll want to focus a bit on Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge apart from your other usual DPS stats like ATK, Electro DMG and CRIT.
The best way to deal with her ER problem is to have another battery Electro unit- this could be either Raiden or Fischl. If your secondary Electro unit also has a high burst cost then its role would be redundant. Fischl is already an established Electro battery and Raiden, despite having a high-burst cost, is an ER god.
For Lisa, your ideal ER range would be 140-170% ER provided you have another Electro unit in the party also giving you Electro Resonance. If she’s your only Electro unit, then a 200% ER is necessary.
Artifacts
Her best artifacts are as follows:
- Thundering Fury– For CD reduction and more combo potential.
- Gilded Dreams– For increased Aggravate DMG and other reaction DMG.
- Emblem of Severed Fate– For her ER requirements and Burst DMG increase.
You can also use 2pc combos of the above sets depending on your stats and needs. Noblesse Oblige and Thundersoother are also viable sets if you’re lacking in the above sets.
Weapons
Her best weapons among the 5-stars are as follows:
- Kagura’s Verity
- Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
- Memory of Dust
- Skyward Atlas
Her best 4-star options are:
- The Widsith
- Solar Pearl
- Mappa Mare (Craftable)
- Hakushin Ring (Craftable)
Team Comps
As discussed earlier, she’s best used in double Electro teams with the other Electro member being a battery. Thus her only options for this role are Raiden or Fischl. You can also use Kuki Shinobu who isn’t a battery but at least her healing can come in handy for your team.
Next, you’ll want a Dendro support character and currently, the best one for that role is the Dendro Traveler. You can also use Tighnari as a sub-dps in which case you’ll have an Aggravate and Spread team instead. Nahida is also expected to be a great choice upon her release since she’s the Dendro Archon.
Your fourth slot can be anyone depending on your playstyle. You can use Anemo units like Kazuha, Venti, or Sucrose to group enemies and increase your overall team DPS. You can also use a shielder like Zhongli to keep your party protected.
Hyperbloom Lisa is also a possible build but her playstyle and kit don’t suit the Hyperbloom playstyle. If you’re a new player or one just starting out and you don’t want Lisa to leave your party, you can also build her with artifacts and weapons that give her EM, ER or ATK and you’ll be good to go until you’re levelled up enough (AR45+) to farm for her best sets.
