Grand-master nightfalls are the biggest challenge you can face in destiny 2, where the difficulty is ramped up so high, that a single mistake will return you to the orbit, no respawns here.
So before you jump into Grandmaster nightfalls you need to make sure you have the appropriate weapon, armor, and mods.
One of the most challenging Grandmaster nightfalls is proving grounds, here I will explain all the things you need to know before you jump into it.
How to Beat Destiny 2 Proving Grounds GM Nightfall
Warlock
As a fellow warlock myself I can suggest two builds that work perfectly.
The first one is a stasis build with the Osmiomancy exotic arms and the bleakwatcher which you can use to freeze every enemy on the map including adds and champions. Using the firepower mod will give you shorted grenade cooldowns and you can spam turrets everywhere and freeze everything that moves,
The second build is by using either Nezarac sin or the Contraverse hold, Nezarac sin will boost super and ability cooldowns, while Contraverse hold will decrease grenade cooldowns. Vortex grenades work best when used with the echo of undermining which will weaken enemies and cause them to make more damage.
Hunters
Even with the solar 3.0 update, hunters’ void builds are still viable in pretty much any activity. It increases survivability when paired with Omniculus as it provides damage resistance and smoke bombs to make you and your fireteam invisible when things get rough.
The solar build works best with Star-eater scales for extra damage when picking up orbs of power. The solar build revolves around blade barrage as it has a shorter cooldown and you can use it often.
Titans
Titans got two choices as well, either go with high damage resistance with overshield or high ability uptime. For high damage resistance, you can use Helm of Saint-14 and get tons of overshield by luring enemies into your ward of dawn. Pairing it with a weapon with Land tank perks will pretty much turn you into a tank.
The second build for high-ability uptime works best with Loreley splendor Helm, which provides sunspots either while critically wounded or while using the barricade.
These are some of the best builds you can use to complete a Grandmaster Nightfall with ease.
