Ubisoft’s Riders Republic is one of the most popular sports games released on 28th October 2021. Riders Republic is a competitive game where players have to compete in various competitions and while participating in competition they often miss their checkpoints. Missing the checkpoint is a huge loss for the players because if they miss the checkpoint, they have to start their race from far behind again if they somehow get out of the race.
Fortunately, Riders Republic has introduced a new feature in the game, which is the Backtrack Button. So that, players never miss checkpoints again.
In this article, we’ll talk about how to use this Backtrack feature in Riders Republic.
How to Backtrack in Riders Republic
To use the backtrack feature, you need to press the Right Shoulder Button both on your Xbox and PlayStation. It allows you to go back through the route, you’ve just taken to restart from the point where you have missed the checkpoint. All you have to do is to, get back to where you want to start and then press Restart Here to continue from that spot. Alternatively, if you failed to identify the spot, press Restart from Start to go all the way back to the place from where you started the race.
Though this feature is helpful and players like it very much, it has its negative sides as well. While using this backtrack feature, keep in mind it is better to use it when you are playing solo. In an online live race, if you use backtrack, you’ll lose your position. Therefore, try to get checkpoints without using backtrack while playing an online race.
That’s all you need to know about Backtrack in Riders Republic. If you are also concerned about missing checkpoints while participating in a race, you can try this feature. Go through our guide to get more information about this backtrack feature in Riders Republic.
