How to Activate Cairn Stones in Diablo 2 Resurrected
The first part of the quest is to find the Cairn Stones, which are in Stony Circle. As much of the maps in the game are procedurally generated, there isn’t a specific spot where you find the stones. But, they are not difficult to find either once you are at the location. The difficult bit is activating the stones.
To activate Cairn Stones in Diablo 2 Resurrected once you have found them, you need to travel to the Dark Forest. There is an underground passage that connects Stony Circle and Dark Forest. Go through the passageway and deal with the mobs and the Cairns. You need to find the Tree of Inifuss in the Dark Woods.
After you have found the tree and before you can interact with it, you have to deal with the Treehead Woodfist. You can either choose to fight the boss or find a way to avoid him.
Once you come this far, much of the hard bit is done. Now, you need to return to Akara and open a portal by interacting with the stones. The order of the stones varies from game to game just like much of the things in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Opening the portal will bring some more enemies and Cain. Defeating all the enemies will complete the quest.
So, this is the ordeal you need to undertake to activate the Cairn Stones in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Check out the game category for more informative guides and tips to play the game.
