Genshin Impact Version 3.2 is out and players can finally play the final Act V: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises of the Sumeru Archon Quest chapter. This Archon Quest, like most regional Archon Quests, also unlocks a new weekly boss- in this case Shouki no Kami- The Prodigal- or simply Scaramouche. The final act of all Archon Quests involves many fights and this one is no exception.
Though Sumeru’s Archon Quest isn’t as flashy as Inazuma’s, at this point it is widely accepted that Sumeru’s Archon Quest is the best written of all and we agree. In this article, we’ll give some neat tips and tricks for players who haven’t yet started the final Act V of Sumeru’s Archon Quest.
Sumeru Archon Quest Act V: Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises Tips and Tricks
The final act of Sumeru’s Archon Quest chapter lasts for approximately 4 hours. Players who want to complete this on a single run will have to reserve at least 4.5 hours for a convenient playthrough.
We won’t spoil the players on what goes down but considering the fact that players have to fight the Scaramouche boss at the end of it, we have some recommendations on what characters they can use for this quest.
- Use catalyst or ranged characters as you’ll need them against the new boss.
- Avoid using Electro characters unless you’re also using Dendro teammates as the boss will have some constructs immune to Electro.
- We recommend using the Dendro Traveler if you have them built as they will not only come useful in combat but will also help maintain immersion.
- Ranged Pyro DPS users like Yoimiya or Yanfei are recommended.
- Have a dedicated healer or shielder for survivability.
- Characters like Venti, Kazuha or Keqing can come in handy for some puzzles in Scaramouche’s Domain.
There is a part of the quest where the MC will have to search for a signal from the Akademiya. The closer you get to the signal, the faster your Akasha blinks. We’re here to tell you that you don’t have to wander far for this signal and it’s to your general right from your starting position within a room with giant protruding tree roots.
There’s another part of the quest where players will have to sneak into the Grand Bazaar area using an NPC character while guards are on the lookout. The game will present options for hiding locations and actions you can take while in this stage. To ease your mind, it doesn’t matter what your choices are since all of them eventually get you caught. When you’ve been seen by the guards, only then the correct option to choose will be “The Grand Bazaar” even though two other options will be presented to you.
We wish all players a great experience with the final Act of Sumeru’s Archon Quest. Unlike the Inazuma Archon Quest which was action-heavy, this one is more story-focused and lore-heavy so it demands your undivided attention for important details.
