The Bake-Danuki Wanderlust is a time-limited world quest in the Golden Apple Archipelago of 2.8 and it can only be completed after you’ve completed the “Like Rhyme and Song, the Summer Reverie” world quest. You can still begin this quest before completing the preliminary quest. In this article, we’ll walk you through it all so that you can finish the quest in one fell sweep.
Bake-Danuki Wanderlust in Genshin Impact
The quest begins in Pudding Isle but you’ll have to make sure your island formation is the correct one for the quest to appear. The quest is mostly limited to this island but you’ll still need to keep changing its formation time and time again so it might get a bit tedious. To make things easier to understand, we’ll divide it into 4 parts.
Leisurely x Hoverlight Rocks
To begin, first, teleport to the small isle northwest of Pudding Isle and change the island formation to Leisurely Rocks on the left and Hoverlight Rocks on the right.
- Teleport to the main waypoint in Pudding Island and glide southwest towards the bake-danuki named Mamesuke.
- After taking the quest from the bake-danuki, turn back and climb up the mountain behind in the northeast direction.
- Look for a tree stump surrounded by enemies- more specifically specters.
- Defeat the specters and investigate the tree stump.
- Go back to Mamesuke to talk to him.
- Teleport back to the northwest isle of Pudding Isle.
Leisurely x Leisurely Rocks
Change the formation of Pudding Isle to Leisurely Rocks on both sides.
- Teleport to the main waypoint in Pudding Isle and head southwest by crossing the broken wooden bridge.
- Defeat the enemies and save the captured Shibasuke.
- Teleport back to the small northwestern isle and talk to the tanuki there.
- Again teleport back to the Pudding Isle waypoint and head north towards the coast.
- Talk to the tanukis there in front of the Anemo stones.
- Retrieve the Sunsettias inside the air current by breaking one of the Anemo stones, gliding up and plunging down upon the Sunsettias.
- Next, head east along the coastline to defeat some Pyro slimes.
- Teleport back to the small northwestern isle.
Unyielding x Unyielding Rocks
Change the formation of the Pudding Isle to Unyielding Rocks on both sides before continuing.
- Teleport to Pudding Isle and glide west along the cliffs.
- Solve the Pressure Plate puzzle by the Pavillion below- you can use Geo Traveller, Amber or any other character who can put pressure on two plates at once.
- This puzzle rewards you with a common chest so be sure not to miss it.
- Glide southwest again towards the coastline where you’ll have to defeat a Ruin Guard next.
- If you haven’t completed “Like Rhyme and Song, Summer Reverie” quest yet, this is where this quest will pause.
Finishing the Quest
If you have completed the preliminary quest, then teleport back to the small northwestern isle near Pudding Isle and talk to the tanukis.
- Teleport to Windrise Statue of the Seven and look for a glowing blue mark nearby.
- Reach this spot and this will complete your time-limited world quest
This quest rewards you with 40 Primogems and 3 Hero’s Wit EXP books so be sure not to miss it. Players will have a fun time hanging out with the bake-danukis from Inazuma again.
