Something is seriously wrong with the Warzone servers. If you try opening the game at the time of writing, the game will be stuck in a loop of “Fetching Profile Update” and eventually give one of two error codes, the Warzone error code 273472 or the error 11328. You are not alone with the problem, a large number of players have been affected by the error and the devs acknowledged the issue on Twitter. Keep reading to find out more about the error and what you can do about it.
Warzone Error Code 273472 Fix
You may be able to fix the Warzone error code 273472 by restarting the game and the PC if the issue was not with the game or the servers. But, Raven Software has come out and acknowledged that both Vanguard and Warzone are going through server issues. Here is a Tweet from them soon after the error started to appear for users.
And it’s not just Warzone or Vanguard that has been going through server problems. Players on other CoD titles have also been reporting errors and server problems. Here is the next Tweet from the devs.
After about three hours from when the error 273472 started to occur, the devs have resolved the issue and most players should be able to connect to the servers and continue with the game. Here is the Tweet from Raven.
The Downdetector page for CoD games also shows that the issue has really subsided and reports are next to none. It’s possible that you may still run into the error. If that happens we suggest that you reboot the game. If that does not resolve the error, a PC reboot may be in order.
Check if there is a new update or patch for the game and download it. That’s all we have in this guide, we will keep an eye on the situation and update the post if the issue resurfaces or if there is a fix available in case it’s not the servers to blame on a future date.
