Hunt Showdown is an online multiplayer FPS shooting game developed and distributed by Crytek, the same firm that created the iconic Crysis.
The game first appeared on Windows and Xbox in 2019, followed by the PlayStation a year later. Both players and reviews complimented the game’s graphics and gameplay shortly after its release.
But make no mistake, gamers frequently face technical issues such as faulty controller sensitivity following the 1.8 updates, and many are unable to place or launch the bear trap.
To add to the list of concerns, Hunt Showdown gamers are now experiencing server disconnections. Many people claim that it has rendered the game utterly unusable for them.
While the majority of these reports are from players on the European server, the issue appears to be impacting players in other locations as well.
Players claim to have tried common solutions such as restarting the game and validating files, yet the problem persists. Here is a solution from a user.
Here’s what some Hunt Showdown gamers who are having server disconnections have to say about it.
While the makers of Hunt Showdown have resumed the game servers in the EU, it appears that players are still being disconnected while playing.
We hope the devs can quickly identify the source of the problem and resolve it in the next few days, as the game is currently unplayable for many players.
From all the info we have seen, this is a Server issue and unfortunately doesn’t have any workarounds. This issue appeared back in April and was resolved by the devs with some server maintenance. We can hope the same takes place this time. Although as of now we do not have any Eta on this Fix and seems like there’s a rapid increase in the number of reports on Downdetector.
