Vanguard Open Beta is over and there are no more tests remaining. Now, the wait is for the game to release in Nov. While the beta was wonderful, except for the graphical bugs in Xbox. Some users reported seeing the Call of Duty Vanguard Error Code Duhok-Presidio. The error message states, “Connection failed Thanks for downloading the Call of Duty Vanguard Private Beta [Reason: DUHOK – PRESIDIO].” If you have run into this error at the time of launch, there is a very specific cause.
The reason you are seeing the Call of Duty Vanguard Error Code Duhok-Presidio is because the game is not live yet. There is a range of error codes in the game that’s related to the user’s internet connection and issues with the server, but the reason – Duhok-Presidio is exclusively for situations when the server is not live.
It’s likely that you may encounter the error again right before the launch of the game. As a lot of users often get confused with the release time of the game and attempt to launch the game when the server is not live, you may run into the error.
You can also encounter the error when the servers are down for maintenance or some other reason. But, the thing to note is when this error occurs it’s exclusively due to the servers not being live. We will update the post when you have more info on the error or any other situation that may lead to the error. At the time of writing, there is no information from Activision relating to the error message, so we cannot tell you more.
Evidence from the early access and the following beta suggests that the error only occurs when there is a problem with the server. You cannot do anything on your end to fix the error. Simply wait for the servers to be live and you will bypass the Call of Duty Vanguard Error Code Duhok-Presidio.
