The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘The Case of the Missing Ale’ quest bug in the Yule Festival is preventing players from progressing into the game. If you have encountered the bug, we have workaround that you can try. Keep scrolling to know more.
Fix Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘The Case of the Missing Ale’ Quest Bug
What is the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ‘The Case of the Missing Ale’ Quest Bug? HyperSnapShot on the Ubisoft forum explains the problem exactly, “Mission one named ‘The Case of the Missing Ale’ Once you’ve retrieved the barrel from the bandit camp the mission icon for ‘Bring back the Brew’ isn’t found in Ravensthorpe but located west in Sciropescire (where the curse land icon is) the icon displays in the same area but underground see images below. I’ve tried bringing it back to the brewery in Ravensthorpe but still does nothing.”
With no sight of hotfix for the issue or the support staff even acknowledging the issue, the community has come up with workaround of their own that seems to work for quite a bit of users.
The solution to the problem is to return to the bandit camp and take another keg, then, head east to Grantebridgescire to find Ake, do not follow the game’s direction. Open the map and near Grantebridge, you should find Ake. When you approach the cliff, Ake should be standing there, but there is another glitch where Ake’s boat is in the air, go to him and the cut scene will begin. That’s it, you’ve bypassed the bug and can finish the quest.
That’s all we have in this guide, hope it was helpful in resolving your issue. Check the game category for more guides and insight.
