If you wish to summon other players to help you with a quest or to defeat the boss lying ahead, you can do so by interacting with the Summoning Pool. You can find these statues around sites of grace or near any boss arena and dungeons. You won’t just find friend passing though, but activating the summoning pool will also bring in enemy players to invade your world. To get friends over via the summoning pool, you will have to be online. You can also use it while offline, but you can only call upon certain NPCs and Spirit Ashes to help you.
You can invite a maximum of three players into your world at a given time. If you wish to activate a Summoning Pool, you will need Furlcalling Finger Remedy, which you can buy from merchants, get it from loot or enemy drops, or even craft it if you have the recipe. There are two types of summoning pools, red for enemies, and golden for friends. You can also create your summoning pool to be summoned by other players by having Small Golden Effigy or Tarnished’s Furled Finger for friends, and Duelist’s Furled Finger to be summoned by enemies.
