Karma System in Digimon Survive
The Karma system in Digimon Survive has three types of karma:
- Moral
- Harmony
- Wrathful
Each story or dialogue choice the player encounters in the game will allow them to select one of three karma replies.
Every time you make a decision, you have the option of selecting a moral option in the top-right, a harmonious option in the bottom-right, or a wrathful option in the bottom-left. Each of these selections impacts the game’s future events, so choose wisely since you can’t alter your mind without loading a save or restarting a part.
You may check your karma rating in Digimon Survive by going to the profile menu and looking in the bottom right corner of the screen to see how many points you have for each of the three karma types. You can also get a visual breakdown of how the three numbers connect to each other, which will help you keep track of where your karma is and how you can modify it if you want to.
The karmic route you choose will also influence the evolutionary path your Augumon and other specialised Digimon choose when they Digivolve into new forms. Agumon, for example, will evolve into Greymon along the moral road, Tyrannomon along the harmony path, and the wrathful line will undergo an unknown evolution.
Furthermore, each karma type has its own attribute, which makes it easier to persuade particular Digimon to become your buddy or offer you goods when you speak to them. We’ve broken down these characteristics and the judgments you’ll need to make to advance along each one.
Moral Karma: Vaccine Attribute Digimon
Moral karma is earned by making the most unselfish, just, and kind decisions accessible to your character. These options are focused on making the most altruistic actions in the interest of good, and if you have more moral karma than the other sorts, convincing Vaccine attribute Digimon to join your side will be much simpler.
Harmony Karma: Data Attribute Digimon
Harmony Karma is more focused on communication, understanding, helping your friends through words, and having a more passive response to game events. Increasing your Harmony karma makes persuading Data to attribute Digimon to join your ranks easier.
Wrathful Karma: Virus Attribute Digimon
Wrathful karma is earned by making bold, selfish, and increasingly single-minded actions that may endanger you and your companions as you continue through the game. However, ranking up this karma stat offers you an advantage in convincing Virus attribute Digimon to join your side.
