Cyberpunk 2077 Releasing A Day Early For Select Regions

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, but also the most postponed. The game from CD Projekt has been delayed multiple time with the initial release set for September, but, not more delays now. In fact, the game will release a day early if we go by the Steam Store page. The game is set to release worldwide on 10 Dec 2020. Stick around and we will tell you all about the launch of the game and the possibility of an early release.

Cyberpunk 2077 Releasing a Day Early For Select Regions

Earlier, we had news that select content makers got a glimpse into the game as they got the physical copy of the game ahead of launch and if we were to trust the Steam Store page for Cyberpunk 2077, it seems the game releases on 09 Dec 2020 for some regions, a day prior to the official launch date. Here is a screen shot of the Steam Store.

Cyberpunk 2077 Steam Store

Now, we do not know exactly why the store page is showing 09 Dec, but it could attribute to different time zones or midnight releases. But, still that’s quite non-traditional of Steam as games releases on Steam usually happened worldwide. However, when we talk of Cyberpunk 2077, we can never tell.

All the other platform where the game is set to release such as GOG, Epic Games Store, and even the browser version of the game still bares the set release date Nov 10, 2020.

We still do not know whether the game releases a day early for some regions or it’s just a typo from the Steam staff, but with the current date displayed on the Steam Store, it seems the game could release a day early.

However, since the release date is not that far, we will soon find out the truth. If the Steam Store release date is updated, it could be a typo from the Steam staff and this would not be the first time they have done with a game. But, sooner or later we would find out.

If the game does release early for some reason, it’s will infuriate a lot of gamers and Twitter will be filled with fuming fans. But, since it’s just a day that’s not going to make a lot of difference. Hope you are as eager as us to jump to play the game.
