Voice Chat is an incredibly useful feature and entertaining at times if you are in the right mood, it can be used to make new friends and much more. But, the voice chat also exposes you to toxic people or blabbers who go nonstop throughout a game. An option to enable and disable the voice chat allows the player to choose to hear other people or not depending on their personal preference. A lot of players are asking how they can disable voice chat in Forza Horizon 5.
Unfortunately, we do not have any good news to share as the game does not allow an option to disable voice chat. You can adjust the volume of your own volume, but there is no way to mute other players in the game.
For an online multiplayer game in 2021, the absence of an option to disable voice chat is a great oversight from the devs. It’s a feature we have taken for granted in so many games and its absence in Forza Horizon 5 reminds us why the option is made available to the users in the first place.
At the time of writing, the game is going through a ton of issues, which would be the first priority of the devs, so to expect an option to turn off voice chat immediately may not be possible. We hope that the devs are listening to the community and making this their priority.
At the time of writing there has been no comment from the devs in this regard, we will update the post when we know more. So, sadly, if you were looking for the feature in-game, it’s not possible at the moment.
