With the introduction of solar 3.0 and new weapon perks, the solar subclass has never been better. Solar subclass was a decent PvE option even before 3.0, warlocks felt more like a healer and support, as every end-game content forced you to run well of radiance, which isn’t necessarily bad but soloing a dungeon/lost sector was difficult when compared to the other classes. And the alternate super Daybreak didn’t make it any better in PvE and was more of a PvP super instead.
Now with the arrival of solar 3.0, we can make some truly insane builds and pretty much be an invincible tank. I will explain all the aspects, fragments, and weapons required to make this build below.
Best Solar 3.0 Warlock Build in Destiny 2
Aspects
- Touch of Flame: All of your grenades have enhanced functionality.
- Heat rises: You can fire melee, weapons and throw grenades while gliding.
Fragments
- Ember of Empyrean: Solar weapon or ability final blows increase the duration of restoration and radiant effects.
- Ember of Searing: Melee energy granted on defeating scorched targets
- Ember of Ashes: Apply more scorch stacks to targets.
- Ember of Torches: Powered melee attacks against combatants make you and allies radiant.
Weapons
This part of the guide will be completely optional as not all weapons will be viable In every activity and as your choice of weapons may completely depend on your playstyle, But I would like to mention two of the best weapons and perks that work best with this build
- Calus’ Mini Tool: This weapon was reintroduced in the season of the haunted and has one of the best perks for solar builds, i.e., Incandescent. It makes nearby enemies have scorch damage within the certain radius of the enemy you killed.
- Drang(baroque): Similar to the Calus Mini Tool, this gun also drops with Incandescent and can also be crafted in the enclave.
Following this guide will allow you to make a solar 3.0 warlock built with infinite restoration, melee and grenades
