Ant Esports recently introduced their brand new MK1500 Mini Wireless Gaming keyboard. This keyboard is based on the 60% form factor like its predecessors, MK1200 Mini and MK1300 Mini. The latest entry in the series will be based on membrane switches unlike the MK1200 Mini and MK1300 Mini, which came with mechanical red switches.
The keyboard will also use Bluetooth connectivity and has an operating range of 5m. The use of Bluetooth will allow for universal compatibility and also cuts the need for a dedicated 2.4GHz adapter. However, latency might be a problem for eSports gamers.
The MK1500 Mini is RGB backlit and weighs just over 550gm. The keyboard will use membrane switches which might be a huge letdown for several gamers, but it will ensure portability since membrane switches do not come off easily unlike mechanical switches.
The national product manager of Ant Esports, Amit Putatunda, said: “With offices opening up post-pandemic the demand for multi-functional devices is greater than ever right now, with the MK1500 Mini we aim to cater to a wider audience who can not only game with it but also use it as an all-rounder device for work, home or leisure all with the convenience of 60% form factor, long battery life and hassle free mobility.”
The keyboard uses a detachable USB Type-C cable for charging. It can fully charge within 2 hours and can deliver up to 100 hours of usage on a full charge. The keyboard can also last for 230 hours on standby. This will get you through a week’s use.
Currently, it is only available in a full white low-profile model. The MK1500 looks elegant and can match the vibe of any setup easily.
