How to Do Makasura Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom – An Upright Device
The Makasura Shrine (1775, -1055, 0166) is located south of Kakariko village, on a small hill. You have to ascend the hill to find the shrine. Here we will see how to solve the Makasura Shrine puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

- Once you reach the shrine, go inside and go to the very end of the stage.
- Use Ascend to go up
- Hit the device that is lying horizontally on the floor and move it to the edge of the gap
- Use Ascend to go up, then glide your way to the other side
- Once you are on the other side, grab the device on the floor and place it against the grilled gate on the left
- Hit the device to make it upright, then ascend to reach the top.
- Glide your way to the other end of the room. On the platform ahead you will get a chest containing Fairy Tonic
- If you find it too hard to reach the platform, you can grab the device that you propped up against the gate earlier and bring it with you.
- You can then use the device to ascend to the platform.
- Jump down, then pick up the ball on the side and place it into the bowl in the center of the room
- You don’t have to attach the ball to the bowl, rather it should be catapulted out of the room
- Attach the device that is lying beside it at the base of the propeller
- Hit the device to launch the ball over the gate
- Use ascend at the grill gate to go up and over to the other side
- Place the ball into the central pit to unlock the next area
- Pick up the next propeller inside the new area and bring it out.
- Bring the device that you used earlier on the grilled gate and hit it to deactivate it
- Attack the new propeller at the L-shaped junction on top of the device.
- Sit on the bowl and hit the propeller to get launched towards the exit.
