Prestige of operators in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ operates in a manner that differs from normal prestige. You are required not only to reach a certain level but also to gather some equipment, collect your trait points, and accumulate some cash. The biggest challenge is getting all 18 trait points, as this takes plenty of time and successful missions.
How to Prestige Your Operator
To prestige an operator in MW4 DMZ, you need to meet the following requirements. Most of these items are fairly easy to collect as you continue playing:

- 4 Rare Printer Ingredients

How to Earn Trait Points
Each operator gains experience as you accomplish missions and objectives in DMZ. With the rise in level of the operator, you gain trait points which you can invest in three different paths. In these paths, you determine how to develop your operator. Experience can be gained through missions and field objectives, among other tasks carried out on the map.
The problem here is that gaining maximum trait points requires too much grinding. In some cases, even if the mission is a success, the operator may fail to accumulate enough experience for one trait point. The second challenge is keeping your operator alive. If an operator gets killed during the mission, the operator will go MIA. At this stage, you can either pay cash for recovery of the operator or simply dismiss the operator.
Recovering an MIA operator lets you keep all the traits you’ve unlocked, although you’ll lose their weapons and equipment. If you dismiss the operator instead, you’ll lose all their progress and have to start again.
Best Way to Prestige Your Operator
The best thing to do is to use two operators at level 18. Use your primary operator for gaining experience and obtaining traits while making use of the other operator for generating cash. Using Quick Field Missions to generate cash will be ideal. You won’t even require extracting in order to get the cash through these missions. As soon as you complete the mission, the reward will be yours.
This should be done using your secondary operator in order to keep generating cash while having all the right equipment on them. In this manner, in case your primary operator goes missing, you’ll have enough cash in hand to reclaim your operator without losing the trait points. Additionally, you’ll also have more slots for operators unlocked through the process, including a vault edition slot.
