Genshin Impact Version 3.1 is out and with it finally comes the Desert region of Sumeru’s map. The sand looks breathtaking and the sheer scale of the sceneries is something to gasp at. With the Desert region of course comes new hidden achievements that only explorers with a curious mind may be able to achieve. In this article, we’ll tell you the simplest way to get the “Drifting in the Wind” Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact Version 3.1
Drifting in the Wind Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact 3.1
For starters, you will have to go to the desert region of Sumeru. Once you’re comfortably breezing through the sands, keep on the lookout for rolling tumbleweed. Most players would think this is an environmental aesthetic just meant to liven up the dry and dreary desert landscape- but it’s more than that.
These tumbleweeds are easy to miss as they blend in seamlessly with the yellow sands of Sumeru. Once you spot one- go hit it. Attack it with your active character and you will get the Drifting in the Wind achievement.
Oftentimes, these tumbleweeds will carry hidden materials which you can get once you hit and destroy them. One of these materials is the Ajilenakh Nut which is a cooking ingredient unique to Sumeru’s deserts.
Chasing rolling tumbleweeds in a desert is something Genshin players never dreamed of doing in-game but here we are. It’s not only a fun surprise but also something casual players can just indulge in when they don’t want to tackle serious content. The achievement rewards you with 5 Primogems the first time you do it which is also a pleasant gift.
As players explore more and more of Sumeru’s desert, we’re sure there will be other hidden achievements for us to find. We’ll cover them as they come but until then we wish players good luck on their Cyno and Candace pulls. Happy exploration and summons Travelers!
