There are a couple of ways through which you can approach a wolf to kill it in Farthest Frontier. These are as follows:
- Attacking with a Villager
- Attacking with a Lookout Tower
- Attacking with a Barracks
- Garrisoning Villagers in your Town Hall
If you’re using the first method, which is the simplest, you should choose a Hunter, Guard or a Soldier to carry out the task. Otherwise, the villager might end up dying or be severely injured. These three kinds of villagers are armed with a weapon, so they have a greater chance of victory against the wolf. Sending a single villager works only if there is a single wolf.
For several wolves or a wolf pack, you will need to send in a horde of attackers. Use ranged weapons to get a headstart and take less damage. With a bit of luck, you’ll return unscathed. You can also attack a wolf den in this manner and take out a lot of these vicious creatures at once.
You should be picking at least two Hunters when going on missions like these. As for the weapons, you can pick bows which are better than melee weapons as they can attack from a distance. Note that a wolf den will reduce the number of wolves for some time, but it won’t prevent wolves from spawning.
