Defeating Deathbird in Elden Ring – How to do?
Deathbirds are flying creatures that have several attacking strategies and deal heavy damage. Though it can be spawned in multiple locations throughout the Lands Between, players mainly find him at Warmaster’s Shack in Limgrave.
Deathbirds have several moves that deal heavy damages. For instance, Staff Cleave, Staff Swipe Combo, Staff Slam Reposition, Staff-Slam Gap-Closer, Sweep and Leap, etc., are the most frequently used moves of Deathbird. Always be careful and avoid the attacks of the Deathbird. Otherwise, you can be defeated instead of defeating it. It can release heavy attacks back-to-back in a row. Though they don’t move fast while attacking, they can reposition themselves faster when needed.
Deathbirds are particularly weak to Holy Damage. Therefore, for the Faith users, it’ll be a great advantage. Using Holy pots and weapons do twice more damage than regular melee or ranged weapons. Also, Deathbirds will take the most damage when hitting on their head. However, it is difficult to hit on its head. If you want to use ranged weapons, ride on Torrent and cast spells or shoot arrows at it; but you have to be on your foot if you want to fight with melee weapons. Riding Torrent won’t give you a good result while using a melee weapon. Also, remember Spirit Summon will not work in this fight.
Only, if you take the Deathbird to the northside, you’ll get an area where you can summon spirits, but remember, if you take it much further from its original spawn location, it will despawn. If it somehow despawns, the fight will begin from the starting point once again.
That’s how you can defeat Deathbird in Elden Ring. If you are stuck in the fight and looking for a guide to get help, follow our guide for required information.
