The earliest location to collect Phosphate Ores from is while scavenging around the Wetlands. The ore can be found out in the open or inside pits, so you just need a pickaxe to mine them. But locating Phosphate here can be tough here since it is still early in the game. Another place you can check out is the Jungle Cave area, but you might find an abundance of Iron more than Phosphate.
And lastly, exploring the Volcanic Forest is the best place to find Phosphate Ore. Obsidian,on the other hand, is even rare to locate. There is only one place where you can find an abundance of Obsidian. Make your way to any of the volcanic regions like Volcanic Forest or Scorching Volcano to farm Obsidian. Again, these ores do appear on the surface, so you don’t need to enter caves to find them.
