The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is now live. Players have been waiting for this season for a long time, and the moment Season 4 was launched, players jumped into the game to explore all the new features on the map. Like every season, this season also brought a few Fortnite introductory quests for the players in the Daily, Weekly, and Kickstart categories. Becoming a Chrome Blob and covering distance is one of them. However, before you complete this quest, you must know how to become a Chrome Blob in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4- How To Become a Chrome Blob?
Chrome is the main theme in this season; the newly introduced locations like Shimmering Shrine, Herald’s Sanctum, and Lustrous Lagoon are covered with Chrome. The structures, trees, chests, weapon boxes, and everything else are covered with Chrome. If players want, they can also cover them with Chrome. Whatever is covered with Chrome gets a metallic appearance.
To become a Chrome Blob, first, you need to get covered with Chrome, and to do so, either you need to get Chrome Splash, or you need to go to Herald’s Sanctum and enter into Chrome Storm. These are the two ways to become Chromed. However, Chrome Splash is an Epic rarity item that is too difficult to find. Generally, you’ll find them randomly from Chrome Chests, but it’s not that every chest you open has Chrome Splash. Therefore, going to Herald’s Sanctum is a better idea. You’ll find the Chrome Storm always at the same place- behind Herald’s Castle. Alternatively, if you are lucky, you can get Chrome Splash randomly on the ground.
Once you get Chromed, start running by pressing the respective Sprint buttons on your platforms. As you start running, you’ll immediately become a Chrome Blob, which looks like the video below
You can keep on running in this state. However, it’s not a permanent state anyway, so you’ll get back to your actual form within a few seconds.
That’s all you need to know about becoming a Chrome Blob in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4. However, no matter what you do, collect weapons, especially if you are going to the newly introduced locations. These locations are now the center of attraction to the players, so you’ll probably get tons of enemies there.
