Gundam Evolution from the smash hit Gundam anime has finally been released and is available now on Steam for players to download and begin playing. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 30th November 2022, which isn’t too far off. In this guide, we will take you through the mobile suits that are already unlocked for you at launch, and which ones you will be able to unlock as you play in Gundam Evolution.
Gundam Evolution: Which Mobile Suits are Available at Launch?
The first-person-shooter game comes with several mobile suits available for free which are available to all at launch. The rest of them can be unlocked later.

There are 12 suits that are currently available in the game, and 4 more can be purchased through the premium currency of the game, which is EVO Coins. The devs have also confirmed that there are going to be more suits in the game eventually, so players don’t get bored of the same ones.
When you begin the game, you will get to use the Pale Rider mobile suit. This is an average difficulty mobile suit which comes with a Bullpup Machine Gun. For the add-ons, you will get an EMP Grenade which allows you to slow down foes, as well as a Repair Pod in order to heal your team.
Here is the list of all the twelve mobile suits that you will get for free in Gundam Evolution:
- DOM Trooper
- GM Sniper II
- Gundam Barbatos
- Pale Rider
- Turn A Gundam
- Zaku II
Here is the list of all the five mobile suits that you need to spend EVO currency in order to obtain in Gundam Evolution:
- Gundam Exia
- Unicorn Gundam
- Zaku II
These premium mobile suits can be bought for 990 EVO Coins each. Alternatively, you can use 1980 Capital for each of them.
It is worth noting that the DX Edition of Gundam Evolution will allow the player to unlock four of these mobile suits for 4,000 EVO Coins, as well as a number of Legendary skins that cannot be unlocked anywhere else.
